Owing to the Rolls Royce 'Falcon' 190 hp engine being used in other types of machines in production, this type was never proceeded with. The original N-9 remained in service until 1918 and was the first float seaplane to be catapulted into the air from a warship. It featured one set of struts on either side of the fuselage and the top wing with a large overhang." 72 pages Magazine in good condition for age. Some light creasing front and back covers.
